The itel S18 Pro is the newest model from one of the Transsion Holding firms, and it has a 5000mAh battery and other praiseworthy features.

The new S18 Pro gadget will be made available by iTel as part of its S series portfolio. This will be released a year after the ITel S17, which has a number of cutting-edge capabilities.

The phone really raises the bar for other midrange devices by showcasing the essential allure aspects, particularly in terms of photography.

The non-removable Li-Po battery within the ITEL S18 Pro offers a long-lasting capacity of 5000 mAh.

Additionally, the smartphone has a micro USB v2.0 connector and a rear-mounted Fingerprint reader.

This low-cost smartphone comes in Mint Green, Digital Silver, and Midnight Black hues, and there is just one memory option with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.

    Display and Design

Unlike its predecessor, the iTel S18 features a completely new design. With a plastic body and glass in the front, it has a beautiful design.

While the design is unquestionably the nicest we’ve seen on an iTel phone yet, the teardrop notch up front seems a little old for a 2022 handset.

However, when you open the back cover, you’ll find two enormous rear cameras that resemble those on the most recent Xiaomi 12.

In the meanwhile, a fingerprint scanner is located in the centre of it. Below the camera on the left side of the phone is a big written “iTel” brand logo.

Thankfully, you have the option to utilise Face ID as a security alternative or fallback.

When it comes to port connections, the iTel S18 is quite fortunate. The phone’s bottom edge is precisely positioned for the phone’s USB-2.0 connector, 3.5mm headphone socket, and speaker grills.

The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side, while the SIM tray is located on the opposite side and shares a slot with the SD card.

    Camera

The S18 camera is the first iTel vlog smartphone, according to the firm. In particular, the 8MP selfie camera, it is the itel S18’s most advanced feature. This is a fantastic improvement over the iTel model and sets a new standard for mid-range cell phones.

The 16MP and 2MP rear cameras are housed in an oval-shaped camera bump on the back. The Bokeh effect, AI Face Beauty, Fast Short Video Shooting, One-Click Share, and many more features are just a few of the highlights of the iTel S18 camera.

Additionally, the S18 camera will not let you down since it is designed particularly for photography. It is our choice for the finest inexpensive phone camera.

    Performance, Software, and the Processor

The S18’s CPU has been enhanced by iTel, however, it still falls short of what one could expect from a mid-range phone.

The MediaTek Helio P22 CPU of the iTel S18 is supported with 4GB of RAM. There may, however, be a 2GB version, but we can’t be sure about that just yet.

The 32GB or 64GB of internal storage on the S18 is more than adequate for your data and applications. You may opt to update it in the meantime using the available SD card slot.

Fortunately, the S18 won’t have any issues with everyday performance. On the phone, simple games like Candy Crush, Temple Run, or Spider-Man will run well, but more complex games like PUBG, Call of Duty, etc. may often hang.

    Battery Power

With a 5000mAh battery, the iTel S18 lets you use your phone all day without needing to plug it in to charge.

Itel claims that the S18 offers 7 hours of continuous recording time, 30 hours of hands-free talk time, and 27 days of standby time. This is one of the finest features of this smartphone, which we recommend if you want a phone with a powerful battery.

    Conclusion

Since this phone is entry-level, how good is it? That depends on the purpose for which you want to utilise it.

This phone is fine if you want to use it for communication, calls, social media, multimedia, light gaming, as a second phone, etc.

However, if you want a primary phone for Snapchat videos or to play games like PUBG and eFootball, then the answer is no. It’s tough to pass on this one. You’ll have to increase your spending and search elsewhere.
